Hi, I’m Akshara Raparla—a high school senior at Downingtown STEM Academy, aspiring business and nonprofit leader, and lifelong advocate for service, spirituality, and the arts.
I co-founded Drishti Foundation, raising over $70,000 and mobilizing volunteers across 3 states to empower individuals with visual impairments across 3 countries. I’ve also dedicated 1,100+ hours to community service—from planting trees and packing meals to supporting blind individuals.
I’m a Bharatanatyam and South Asian fusion dancer who believes movement and music bridge cultures and spark empathy. I’ve performed in major productions and mentored younger dancers.
My passion for spirituality led me to master all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita—earning a Guinness World Record for a mass recitation and deepening my commitment to service and self-reflection.
Outside dance and spirituality, I channel my creativity into a YouTube channel with 1.4K+ subscribers, solar-energy research, and branding campaigns for nonprofits like The Borgen Project.
I’ve received media attention for initiatives spanning nonprofit advocacy, community service, and STEM innovation.
Whether I’m choreographing a new piece, drafting a donor email, or engineering a classroom solar kit, my mission remains constant: unite people through purpose, passion, and positive impact.
